Veterinary Surgeon required at Kilbarchan Vets, Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire.
We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to complete our amazing team! This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, including 1:3 Saturday mornings. Out of hours are covered by Vets Now. We offer a mix of consulting and operating on rota with other Veterinary Surgeons. Minimal sole charge required on Saturday mornings only. Training and development encouraged with a generous CPD budget.
We are a small and friendly single site practice based in the conservation village of Kilbarchan. We are just 30 minutes from the city of Glasgow and even less than that from the international airport, yet we are surrounded by beautiful countryside. We have a good range of modern equipment including digital ultrasound, x-ray, in-house lab and expert knowledge available amongst our team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses and visiting specialists. We have a brilliant nursing team to support and provide excellent patient care.
We require someone with some post qualification experience and is happy to consult in a busy environment (15 minutes per appointment). We also require a level of competence with operating, including basic neutering procedures and common surgical procedures. A Veterinary degree and Registration with RCVS are essential.
