Company

Mintlaw Veterinary Surgery is a companion animal practice that opened in June 1997. We have been in our modern, purpose built clinic since January 2010. Our aim is to provide a high quality, caring, and personal service to our clients.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Our business is knowledge. We work hard to provide the very best veterinary care for the needs of small animal pets and owners in the north east of Scotland.  We will maintain our present services, while always looking to expand our skills, equipment, products and treatments available. We provide an excellent surgical referral service, allowing us to welcome and treat patients from other practices; and we always have one of our own small animal vets and nurses on call in case of any emergency.

We pride ourselves in customer care, and high quality consistent service, provided by our fantastic team of very dedicated staff. We strive to exceed the expectations of our clients, in a friendly and approachable manner. We value all clients who choose to come to us.

We have well qualified staff and provision of external and internal training is a key feature for the ongoing development of our business. We use various external benchmarks to ensure the ongoing quality of our service and safe working environment. Our new, purpose built premises are single storey, with excellent car parking and internal facilities. These will be maintained and developed to provide a pleasant environment for staff, clients and patients.

We aim for a happy working team environment where we appreciate the people we work with and value others as well as ourselves.

We actively market ourselves using multiple media to share news and information with current and potential clients. Continual monitoring of our results along with feedback from clients on their experiences allows us to work hard to further enhance future visits.

We aim to improve the profitability of the business to allow ongoing investment in our assets - our staff, our premises and our equipment.  Doing this ensures we remain the best veterinary team for pets.
