Due to one of our nurses moving away from clinical work, we are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a full-time position at our cat only clinic in Southsea.
The role is 40 hours per week, working shifts between 8am - 7pm with a 8am - 2pm shift every other Friday to allow for 1:4 Saturday mornings. There is no out of hours or bank holiday work. The role will cover all nursing duties including some nurse clinics along with some senior responsibilities such as implementing or improving policies, overseeing day to day duties are carried out, managing stock and assisting the practice manager and clinical director with some administrative tasks including organising rota cover.
The cat clinic is an RCVS and ISFM silver accredited, feline only clinic located on a busy street just ten minutes from the seafront. The clinic is run with two full-time vets, 2.5 RVN's, 1 VCA and a receptionist. We are a cat loving, friendly team who welcome new ideas and suggestions and believe in treating all patients as we would wish our own pets to be treated. CPD is encouraged. Some of our toys include digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house blood machines, doppler and k-laser.
We are looking for an enthusiastic registered veterinary nurse to join our team. You must be able to work on your own as well as being a team player, be self-motivated, have good communications skills and thrive in a busy environment. A love of cats is a must as well as priding yourself on high clinical standards.
