Riversmeet Veterinary Centre, established over 100 years ago, is a small animal, primary care practice in Staffordshire & Warwickshire, with sites in Tamworth and Atherstone.

We provide routine primary care services including orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, eye, heart and skin treatments, arthritis management and cancer treatment. It also offers referral services in ophthalmology and cardiology.

The Riversmeet team members have their own areas of special interest allowing them to provide a high standard of clinical care to clients and patients. We are also a closely knit team, with majority of the team having 5 – 20 years’ service!

Due to continued success, we are looking for a 2 year minimum Vet Surgeon to join our team. We currently have 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 who have specialisms in Cardiology & internal medicine and one in Ophthalmology. We also have a Vet currently doing his surgical certificate and another working on Emergency critical care and we are able to fully support applicants who wish to undertake a certificate.

You will be required to work 40 hours per week over 8 wk rota, 2 x Sat morning Wk 6 & 7, full weekend Wk 8 (sat 8.30 -5pm & sun 9.30-4.30pm) Monday off after your weekend.
