My client in West Sussex is looking for a permanent night veterinary surgeon to join their busy, friendly team, to work in their brand new, modern, vibrant, and independently owned 24hour hospital. They are very excited to have already attracted some wonderful veterinary talent - but would like to find the right night vets to be a part of their exceptional team.
The role will involve seeing first opinion emergencies alongside providing continuous care for their inpatients. They are looking for vets who can efficiently investigate cases to a high standard and have a medical mind-set, as well as being competent with emergency surgeries sole-charge. Good personal skills are essential, and candidates will be encouraged to maintain continuity with clients and able to see cases through to a conclusion.
They are currently looking for vets who would consider a 6 on, 12 off or 7 on 14 off rota although they can be open to discussion over rota patterns.
They recognise the importance of achieving work-life balance and believe that any rota must allow this.
Salary £45,000-£60,000 subject to experience, rota, and certificate/advanced practitioner status.
- Equivalent of 28 days’ holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
- £1500 per year CPD budget to enable vets to fulfil relevant training.
RCVS, VDS and BVA subscriptions.
They are constructing a beautiful new hospital in a grade II listed building which will be an absolute delight to work in.
