My clients in Herefordshire have an exciting opportunity for a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join their single site small animal practice. They are a busy first opinion practice with excellent standards of clinical care. You will work alongside the friendly team of vets, nurses and receptionists, both consulting and spending at least one day a week in theatre. The role is full time role working 4 days a week and 1:5 participation in the OOH weekend rota and one night a week on call. After a weekend on call you will have a long weekend to enjoy, ensuring you have a healthy work life balance.
This practice endeavour to set high standards and keep up with new developments to give the best possible service to their clients. They have up to date equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab machines and multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring equipment.
They are a friendly team that regularly have case discussions and share ideas. They are supportive of CPD and further qualifications, as such they have one vet currently undertaking her cardiology certificate and another doing her surgery certificate. They also have a visiting cardiologist, orthopaedic specialist and ultrasonographer attend the practice.
My clients are looking for a highly motivated veterinary surgeon who can thrive in their practice. Confident and professional, with the ability to work seamlessly alongside the practice teams to provide a quality experience for clients and pets alike. You will need to be RCVS registered, have strong communication skills, have the ability to work well in a team, be comfortable to work sole charge (only at weekends) and have a passion to deliver great clinical care and fantastic client service.
