My client in Northumberland has an exciting opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinary surgeon to join their busy, friendly, supportive small animal team at their large well-equipped modern surgery in the beautiful town the beautiful coastline, access to the Cheviots as well as easy access to Edinburgh or Newcastle make this the ideal spot to settle.
As well as the advantage of living in a beautiful rural area, the surgery is a large purpose built and offers great facilities and equipment including their lovely new video endoscope. Their team of nine vets have experience in emergency medicine, internal medicine, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, and exotics. They encourage collaboration and progression. They also have a fantastic team of experienced RVN's and trainees who keep them organised and help them provide expert nursing care to our patients. Being multi-branch, they are lucky to have a wealth of veterinary experience within the wider team.
They are proud to provide our own OOH service for their clients and this additional full-time position would allow the practice to create a generous rota while providing excellent out of hours care.
They have a wide range of facilities such as,
- Separate dog and cat wards and an isolation ward for infectious cases
- Digital x-ray + dental x-ray facilities
- 2 operating theatres
- Dental facilities
- Dog grooming
- In house laboratory facilities
- Nurse clinics
- Farm drug Pharmacy
The successful candidate would have all the equipment they would need to thrive in the role.
The position would suit an experienced vet or a confident recent graduate looking for a supportive team and varied workload.
