Company

The Kingston Veterinary Group opened their first surgery in Yeovil on the Preston Road in 1949. In 1989 we relocated to a purpose built clinic on the Abbey Manor Park.

The team is made up of three full time veterinary surgeons, three nurses and three receptionists. We provide a high standard of veterinary care within a friendly environment in which our pets can feel comfortable, and in which our staff are happy to work. We aim for our clients to be seen on the same day by the veterinary surgeon of their choice wherever possible.

We offer air conditioned waiting and consulting rooms with a large car park, giving easy access to the waiting room. Our modern operating theatre is backed up with a full range of diagnostic equipment, Digital x-ray machine and ultrasound machines, an endoscope, ECG machine and blood pressure monitor.

For the comfort of our patients we have separate heated cat and dog kennel wards and if your pet is hospitalised it is possible, by arrangement, to visit. Home visits can be arranged although we prefer to see patients at the surgery because of the limited range of treatments and procedures which can be given in the home.

We believe your pets should have the best possible care without having to travel so we have invested in excellent facilities to provide these services for our clients in Yeovil. We are able to offer :-

  • Operating facilities with only the most complicated procedures being referred to outside specialists.
  • Digital X-ray facilities to investigate bone and internal problems.
  • Ultrasound scanning to aid diagnosis of difficult cases.
  • Endoscope for digestive investigation
  • ECG (Electro Cardio Graph) to check heart rhythm
  • Blood Pressure Monitor
  • Modern dental equipment.
  • Hospitalisation facilities with heated kennels for pets requiring expert nursing care.

Clients are welcome to visit the surgery with their pets outside surgery times to familiarise them with the veterinary environment and meet the staff.
