We have an exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to come and join our lovely team at Hull Stoneferry.

You’ll be working alongside 4 other vets, a head nurse, 1 RVN, 1 SVN, 1 practice manager, 1 VCA and 4 receptionists. Partner Devinder Singh actively encourages a great working environment, where all colleagues feel valued and work well together, including with the Pets At Home store team.

Person Specification

Our bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards with state of the art equipment including an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and dental suite. Based in a busy Pets at Home store on the outskirts of Hull city centre, with a great mix of clients, this is a wonderful opportunity for both newly qualified and more experienced vets to join us. 

Benefits

The successful candidate should have good medical and surgical skills. If recently graduated you should be able to demonstrate a strong motivation and dedication to your learning and further development. You will also need good customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in animal welfare. 

The position is full time averaging 40 hours per week and including a shared weekend rota, with no OOH.
