Our Partners, Sandra and Lucy, at Ipswich Vets4Pets are looking for veterinary surgeons to join their established and successful team! The practice offers easy access to the A12 and A14 as well as the beautiful nearby coast and countryside and London is just one hour away by train. The practice is within walking distance from the train station.
Sandra qualified from the RVC in 1997 and opened her practice 8 years ago. It gave her the opportunity to combine her love of being a Vet with her passion for creating a happy and supportive work environment. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team made up of 3 vets, 5 RVNs (including Head Nurse, Lucy, who has also now become a Partner), 2 Veterinary Care Assistants and 6 Receptionists. The team hold a variety of interests including animal behaviour, animal welfare and one member of the Vet team is currently working towards their Certificate in Surgery.
The team are looking for two personable Vets with confidence in routine surgical and medical cases and someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, clients and the team. Due to the experience within the existing team, we are looking for Vets with a minimum of 2 year’s experience.
Ipswich Vets4Pets are a busy practice with a friendly team. Low stress handling of their patients is the core of their ethos. There is a real variety of cases, including those from the local animal rehoming centre. They see a large amount of small furries, rabbits in particular, as well as a large amount of cats and dogs. You will have access to excellent facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound and in-house Idexx equipment; Catalyst 1, Lasercyte and Sedivue. In addition, you will also be working within a close team who have voted Ipswich Vets4Pets as the happiest workplace ever worked at!
There are two positions available, one is on a fixed term contract for maternity cover and the other is for a permanent role. With a weekend rota of just 1 in 2 Saturdays (08:30 – 14:00), no sole charge or out of hours, these roles ensure an excellent work/life balance!
