Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Hertfordshire

My client is currently looking for an enthusiastic Lead Veterinary Surgeon and also another Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy team in this Hertfordshire practice.

The practice has all of the usual toys including digital x-ray and ultrasound and is conveniently located just a 5 minute walk from the local train station. Within the practice you will find a friendly team of 1 RVN, 1 SVN, 1 VCA and 1 CCA with the practice being run by their fantastic practice manager.

The practice offers clinical freedom and the opportunity to work with a varied and loyal client base while working up cases to a high standard. They see a wide variety of small animal cases including a higher than average case load of exotics!

They have two positions available; one is for a Clinical Lead Vet who is looking to take the next step in their career, while the other is for a Veterinary Surgeon with at least two years post qualification experience. As they don’t have any Vets at the moment, this will therefore be the start of building a brand new Vet team for someone who would be looking to support and mentor other clinical team members, as well as a more junior Vet. 

They are offering full time hours with a 1 in 2 weekend rota (Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 10am-4pm). There is no OOH responsibility with this role ensuring a great work/life balance.
