A very exciting opportunity has arisen for an Veterinary Surgeon to join our clinic in Dalston, East London. 

We are seeking a strong all-rounder with at least 2-5 years' experience, an interest in surgery would be a bonus but is not essential.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator and a great team player. You will have enthusiasm for offering a great service to your clients, building on the clinics local reputation and playing a crucial part within the team to add to our continued success!

Salary and hours:

This role offers a competitive remuneration package between £46,500 - £52,500 per annum, depending on experience including £12,000 housing allowance, vehicle or £2,500 allowance, £1,500 CPD allowance with 3-days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA memberships. 

This role works to a 4-day week, 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends with fair share of bank holiday cover and minimal on-call duties over the year, approx. 3 weeks to support our dedicated night team if required, enabling the development of your ECC skills and experience.

Skills and experience:

• Proficiency in all neutering and basic soft tissue surgery, handling medical cases
• Excellent client communication
• Good team work skills
• Interest in completing or completion of a certificate preferred, but not essential

Branch:

Medivet Dalston is large clinic based in the highly sought out area of North East London. It is a two vet clinic with head nurse and two student nurses, equipped with X-rays, full blood machines. 

Medivet Dalston feeds into our 24-hr hospital in Camberwell for all out of hour care as well as advanced equipment such as CT imaging.
