We are seeking a Mobile Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic regional team in Dorset. 

The ideal candidate will be a good all-rounder with a minimum of one years' experience, confident with sole charge, consults and surgery. 

This role plays a crucial part in part within the Medivet family. It will see you working in different practice environments, allowing you to gain exposure to varied surgeries and learn from a diverse team of veterinary professionals.

Salary and hours: 

This role offers a competitive salary depending on experience including £6,600 housing allowance, vehicle £2500 allowance, £1,500 CPD allowance with 3-days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA membership fees. 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays. 

This role works across a 4-days week (09:00-19:00) with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends and a fair share of bank holiday cover and on call duties over the year - enabling the development of your ECC skills and experience. On-call supports our dedicated night team if required, approx. 3 weeks of the year. 

Branch:

In this role, the successful candidate will support one of the following 'working groups' with access to two 24-hr hospitals in including Dorchester and Poole. 

- Dorchester, Portland, Weymouth, Wool, Littlemoor

- Parkstone, Wimborne, Oakdale, Canford Heath
