We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse or Y3 Student Veterinary Nurse soon to qualify, to join our wonderful team at Medivet Hyde Park.
With a good surgical and medical case load, this position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop their nursing clinics fully and use initiative to promote new ideas. The practice is unique to Medivet as it can offer a holistic approach and homeopath services, as well as an on-site pet groomer and lovely pet boutique.

Salary and hours - RVN and SVN
This role offers an RVN salary of £24,288 - £28,295 per annum, depending on experience (includes £2000 London weighting allowance) plus £300 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave and in-house CPD available, RCVS and VDS fees, 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.
If you are joining us as a Student Veterinary Nurse, we offer a salary between £16,725 - £22,961 per annum, depending on experience (includes £2000 London weighting allowance) plus RCVS and VDS fees paid. 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.
Progression and development are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re dedicated to supporting our Student Veterinary Nurses as they start their career in nursing. Through regular performance reviews and catch-ups, we provide you with a wealth of opportunities to develop your skills in whichever way you choose.
Hours are 40 per week (43 SVN) - 1:4 weekends and a fair share of bank holiday cover with time off in lieu and minimal on call duties over the year, approx. 3 weeks to support our dedicated night team if required, enabling the development of your ECC skills and experience.
Skills and experience:
Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.
In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed.
You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.
Most importantly, you’ll share our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive showing your passion and professionalism for working as one team to deliver exceptional care.
Alternatively, we can also consider a third year Student Veterinary Nurse who is already enrolled in college who will soon be qualified.
Located in the luxury retail quarter of Connaught Village, right on Hyde Park's doorstep. This is a lovely clinic with a fantastic team made up of Lead Vet, Assistant Vet, HRVN and team of practice support staff.
