The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team here at Terrington. Duties will include managing our nursing team to ensure that we all work to practice standards, working with the Clinical Director and the veterinary team to ensure we continue to provide an outstanding and award-winning level of client and patient care. Part of the role will also include coaching and supporting our trainee nurses at the practice.

•    Five days per week
•    Saturdays shared on a rota
•    No OOHs

About Us
We are located in a small village in the Norfolk countryside very near to Kings Lynn amenities. Terrington is a first opinion, small animal practice with no OOHs. We are proud to be a cat friendly practice with excellent facilities and equipment including laser therapy and two theatres.

We are 31 strong team with 6 vets, 5 RVNs, 6 receptionists and many other enthusiastic colleagues driven by the wish to provide a 1st class service to our patients and clients. Our next challenge is to become a 'Fear free' practice.

Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with excellent clinical standards, decision making skills and clinical coach experience. Excellent communication and organisational skills, combined with the ability to motivate a team, diligent, excellent attention to detail and naturally empathetic are all attributes we look for. You will love being part of a team and easily build a good rapport with our clients. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and forward thinking with ideas on progressing the business and their own projects whilst embracing company led change. Local veterinary practice offers a good bonded client base with a local community feel, no OOH duties,  1:4 Saturdays 8-16:30 only, 5 RVN's and 2 SVN's, another 3 lovely patient care assistants; 6 vets with 78 +  years cumulative experience, surgery certificate holder, , 2 vet GDP advisors, friendly, supportive vets and nurses with great sense of humour. 

The practice is well equipped with the usual toys and there is practically no sole charge! The practice is located in the lovely village of Terrington St. Clements in Norfolk, within easily reach to the lovely Norfolk coast, Sandringham and Kings Lynn.
