Joining our professional, personable team in the practice at our 24 Hour Birstall, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.
The ideal candidate will hold a medicine certificate or would be working towards one. Variety of specialisms considered. Full funding can be provided for a certificate with potential to buy out of current training. A client-orientated approach and excellent communication skills is a must, alongside the ability to work to a high standard both medically and surgically.
As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice.

This is a full time role working 4 days per week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends.
Salary & Benefits
Accommodation allowance £6,600
Vehicle or vehicle allowance £2,500
CPD allowance £15,00 plus 3 days CPS leave
5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
Medivet Birstall is one of our 24-hour practices which is open 365 days a year. The practice is equipped with the latest technology including ECG, In-house laboratory, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dentistry equipment and Ultrasound. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team of day and night staff. The practice sees a busy and varied caseload and is a training practice for nurses and Vets training on our Graduate Support Programme.
Our practice has a very long-standing and friendly client base who appreciate the personal service we provide. The practice has a fully supportive team that are dedicated to their clients and patients.
The practice is located just off the A6 and is a short distance from the A46, A607 and on-site parking for staff and customers. The practice is opposite a parade of shops with places to eat, supermarkets, cafes, banks and more all in walking distance
