We are seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our busy practice in Clapham, South London. 

This role offers a salary of £29,573 - £34,615 per annum, depending on experience (includes £2000 London weighting allowance) £300 CPD allowance plus 2 days CPD leave, RCVS and BVNA membership. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. 

This is a full time position, 40 hours per week - 1:4 weekends and a fair share of bank holiday cover with time off in lieu and minimal on call duties over the year - enabling the development of your ECC skills and experience.

You’ll also be proactive in maintaining your own professional and clinical skills, carry out accurate and timely reporting and explore ways that we can further develop our standards.       

As a RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll already have good knowledge of how a dynamic, practice runs efficiently and effectively. Branch:

Medivet Clapham is situated in Abbeville Village in the heart of Clapham, South London. 

This branch performs a high volume of procedures including endoscopy, cardiac scans and lap spays, equipped with endoscopes, ultrasound, laparoscopic stack system for keyhole surgery, full in house lab, ethylene oxide sterilisation and digital x-ray. 

Clapham is a nice practice which is fast paced and provides similar environment to that of a mini hospital - great if you like keeping nice and busy! Our team take pride in their communication and are seeking a likeminded Head Nurse who enjoys nurturing and building client relationships. 

The team is made up of three Vets - two of which have over ten years’ experience with certificate holders in Cardiology and Endosurgery. The nursing team is made up of the HRVN (that's you!)
