Due to retirement, we are looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon ideally with an interest in surgery. You will be working a four-day week and you will be required to perform the duties of a practicing vet working to high clinical standards including cover at our branch practice one morning or evening. You will work collaboratively alongside our existing vet team and CD. The role is varied with both a medical and surgical caseload. Out of hours shared with neighbouring practice average 1 in 10 out of hours commitment. There is potential for advancement to leadership role if desired.

We are a forward thinking practice located in the Georgian town of Holt, on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. Glaven Vets has been part of the local community since the 1960’s, providing the highest standard of veterinary care for your pets, whilst offering a personal touch. We have great facilities as well as separate cat and dog waiting area and wards. Our team consists of 6 vets, 6 RVN's, 2 SVN and 2 ANA's as well as a team of 5 customer support staff.

You must have a Veterinary Degree registrable in the UK enabling full MRCVS status. Experience of leading and developing successful teams is essential. Excellent communication skills with associates at all levels, a can-do attitude with a determination to succeed and a strong team ethos is also needed.
