Our clients love us and we think you will too!
Vets4Pets Stevenage has an exciting opportunity for two confident, full or part-time vets to join our friendly and established team, where CPD is strongly encouraged, supported and fully funded.
You will be joining a stable and knowledgeable team consisting of 1 vet, 2 registered veterinary nurses, 1 student nurse, 1 veterinary care assistant and 2 receptionists. Our nurses hold Certificates in feline medicine and exotics and we are working towards gaining our gold standard in rabbit care. As a result of this, we see a real variety of cases including lots of small furries! Stevenage benefits from direct train links into Central London in under half an hour and our practice is based just a 5 minute walk from the train station.
Our practice is purpose built with state of the art facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound and in house lab. We also offer free onsite parking.
One of the roles advertised is for an clinical lead vet comfortable with sole charge responsibility, supported by a strong clinical team, and confident with routine surgery and medicine. Our second role is for a vet, where you will benefit from the excellent mentoring in our welcoming and supportive team.
To be successful in this role you will be a vet who enjoys building strong relationships with your patients, clients and the wider team. An interest in internal medicine, dermatology or exotics would be wonderful but not essential!
The roles will include a weekend rota of only 1 in 2 Saturdays and includes some sole charge. There will be no OOH, meaning all of our colleagues can enjoy an excellent work-life balance!
In return, we offer:
• Competitive salary (up to £65,000 for the clinical lead role, and DOE for a vet)
• Career progression and support from the regional Clinical Development Manager
• Generous CPD allowance
• Enhanced annual leave
• 1 in 2 Saturdays only
• No OOHs
