We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our fantastic team at Medivet Weymouth in Dorset. 

This role could also be suited to Y2/Y3 Student Veterinary Nurse.

RVN salary and hours: 

• Salary of £21,330 - £24,565 per annum, depending on experience 
• £300 CPD allowance with 2 days CPD leave and in-house CPD available
• RCVS and BVNA fees paid
• 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
• 40 hours per week with 1:4 full weekends with time back in lieu
• Fair share of bank holiday cover with time off in lieu and minimal on call duties over the year - enabling the development of your ECC skills and experience

In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse or Y2/Y3 SVN already enrolled at college, with small animal practice experience.

You put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

Medivet Weymouth is a busy friendly practice located near to the centre of Weymouth with the surrounding beaches and countryside within easy reach.

It is a two vet practice, led by Branch Partner Emma. Here, you will be supported by a fantastic nursing team made up of our HRVN, PCA and CCA. The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully.
