An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join us at Zasman Vet - Stoke Newington. 

Our Zasman Vet group has eight branches across North London. The successful candidate will lead the team in Stoke Newington where there is a fantastic culture and camaraderie. The surgery is situated near a large park, Clissold Park. It has a lovely village feel - lots of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants on our doorstep! 

The successful candidate will work alongside a second vet and a team of nurses. The team have a fantastic client base and are active in the local community!

We take pride in our collaborative approach and encourage growth and development within your role. You are able to call upon our wider team of experienced vets for advice including certificate holders and diplomate, as well as being invited to leadership courses to better manage your team and the surgery.

The practices are well-equipped with both digital x-ray and dental x-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, bronchoscope and endoscope, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser and diathermy.

All out-of-hour care is managed by our local Medivet hospital, where you will also have access to CT and MRI.

Salary and hours: 

4-day week (08:00-19:00) with 1:3 Saturdays - fair share of bank holidays (approx. 1-2 per year with minimal on-call duties) Salary package in excess of £55,000 per annum depending on experience including allowances, £1500 CPD allowance plus 3-days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA. 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.
