Veterinary Surgeon - Bristol

We are currently looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our friendly team in Bristol. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays and no out of hours.  Consulting and operating are both integral to this position and a typical day may look like operating in the morning, with a break for lunch, and then consulting for three hours from 3pm-6pm or 4pm-7pm.
 
We are a well-established small animal practice who have a high standard of clinical, client and colleague care, with a very loyal client base, many of whom are insured. We are a hard-working team always striving to go that bit further for our patients and clients. We hold regular team and CG meetings to assist communication across our two sites. We have a dedicated operating theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab. We have a great team made up of 6 veterinary surgeons, 5 registered veterinary nurses, two veterinary care assistants, and a dedicated reception team of 5. Alongside a strong work ethic, our outlook is relaxed, and this is often observed and commented upon by our clients. We do our best to give clients a warm welcome and to go the extra mile to surpass our local competitors!
 
Our ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on a busy work environment and is keen to challenge themselves to further their skill set. The ability and some interest to mentor our graduate veterinary surgeon and trainee registered veterinary nurses in the future would be welcomed.
