Our surgery is an independently owned, purpose built small animal surgery situated in the modern development of Hawkinge and is located opposite Lidl supermarket. There is ample parking.

We are fully equipped for all types of surgery and X-ray and are able to perform more complicated surgery such as various orthopaedic conditions, abdominal or chest surgery as well as all the usual neutering surgery for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets etc.

We have plenty of room for dogs and there is a separate waiting area for cats, rabbits and smaller pets.  Dogs and cats (and smaller pets) will be cared for in separate wards should they require surgery or an overnight stay.

The surgery is owned by veterinary surgeon John Thompson. John qualified from Liverpool University in 1984, gaining his RCVS certificate in Small Animal Orthopaedics in 1993.
