The practice:
Veterinary Specialists Scotland is a new multi-disciplinary referral hospital close to Edinburgh committed to providing excellence in care. We have created a state-of-the-art facility and assembled a team of highly motivated Specialists, nurses and support colleagues, to deliver the best possible clinical care to pets from all over Scotland and Northern England.

The role:
We are offering one-year, structured and tailored rotating internships, which can be used as either a stepping-stone to a residency or to enhance veterinary skills before returning to general practice.

Successful candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated, hard-working and positive individual with great communication and organisational skills. You must be eligible to work in the UK and be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. You will have a strong background in small animal practice and have completed your PDP. An excellent command of both written and spoken English is essential.

Location:
Veterinary Specialists Scotland is located in Livingston close to Edinburgh, but also has easy access to Glasgow. Edinburgh is a beautiful and vibrant city, famous for its festival and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the city has many entertainments to offer, for those who prefer the great outdoors, mountains, countryside and coastline are all within easy reach.
