The role:

We are seeking a Mobile Veterinary Surgeon to join us in our regional team working within 2-4 branches in our Watford region. 

The successful candidate will play a crucial part in part within the Medivet family. This role will see you working in different practice environments, allowing you to gain exposure to varied surgeries, and learn from a diverse team of veterinary professionals.

Here, you will create a large connection of colleagues, working together and sharing knowledge to deliver outstanding service and care for our clients and patients.

Salary and hours: 

We work to a 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends. 5 weeks annual holiday allowance plus bank holidays (FTE)

You will also be included on our bank holiday rota, and on-call rota which is fair share across all vets in the region (approx. 3 weeks of the year) to support our wonderful night team at Watford 24-hr, should they require additional support. 

We are able to consider applications from vets looking for Part-Time work therefore this role can provide flexibility for those with caring responsibilities or outside interests who are looking to change their work life balance.

Our Mobile Vets receive the same generous remuneration packages as those who remain in a single branch, including an accommodation allowance, vehicle or vehicle allowance, £1500 CPD budget and all RCVS, VDS and BVA fees covered. 

Skills and experience:

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team.

We are seeking Veterinary Surgeons with 2+ years' experience to join our working groups which cover the following clinics:

Carpenders Park, Pinner, Stanmore, Croxley Green, Denham, Ickenham, Langley, Wexham, Hemel Hempstead, Radlett, St Albans, Flitwick, Great Denham and Redbourn Priory.
