We have a job opportunity for a confident veterinary surgeon with a minimum of 1 years of clinical experience. The role can either be a part time of full time position. 

We are a very well established independent practice, with an RCVS accredited hospital and branches in Essex, we are in easy reach of Cambridge, London and Stansted airport. 

The position will be split between one of our branches and our main hospital. We can accommodate either a 2,3 or 4 day week with a sensible shared weekend and OOH rota. 

We have a dedicated night team who remain on site to ensure high standards of overnight care. You will joining a team of 10 vets with a huge range of interests and expertise including surgery certificate holders. We have a large client base that expect thorough case work ups. We have a number of visiting specialists including a cardiologist, ultrasonographer and ophthalmologist that allows us to work up cases to a high standard. 

The position includes 4 weeks holiday that  increases over 5 years to a maximum of 5 weeks, company pension, £2000 cpd allowance great staff discounts and social events. Certificates and further study can also be supported. 

Salary will be dependent on experience. 


Our well equipped surgeries contain the latest diagnostic equipment including digital x-ray facilities, ultrasound, ECG and endoscopy.

We have our own in house laboratories that allows us to get many results the same day! We have a large team of dedicated veterinary nurses who run daily nurse clinics where they can give general advice and carry out procedures such as microchipping, nail clipping and weight checks.

We have a brand new puppy pre-school to give advice to new owners and help with puppy education and socialisation.

We have close links with the veterinary colleges and referral services in the area, to allow more specialist treatment for your pet.

We also provide specialist treatment with complementary medicine.

We are a RCVS Tier 2 Small Animal Accredited Practice and a training and assessment practice (TP) for veterinary nurses.
