Experienced SA Veterinary Surgeon - Northumberland

This fantastic, large, independent mixed practice with sites across Northumberland and the Scottish Borders are looking for an experienced Small Animal vet to join the team at their biggest practice in Berwick Upon Tweed.

At this site you will be joining a team of 9 vets, 7 RVN's and 2 trainee nurses.  
The team are experienced in internal medicine, orthopaedics, ophthalmology and exotics. The surgery is well equipped with hospitalisation facilities. They have great digital x-ray and dental x-ray facilities, 2 operating theatres, ultrasound, video endoscope, gastroscope and bronchoscope, plus in-house lab facilities, separate dog and cat wards and an isolation ward for infectious cases.

The ideal candidate will have a couple of years experience in general practice and be competent and confident in small animal surgery and consults. This position is full time working a 4.5 day week and a 1:6 Saturdays on a rota. Plus an OOH rota which is currently 1:6. Time off in lieu is given for working on call.  

There is a generous annual leave allowance of 31 days on offer as well as a generous CPD allowance.
