We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or 2nd/3rd year Student Veterinary Nurse (clinical coach available to continue studies) to join our friendly and supportive team. The normal working day is dependent on the shifts - early, mid, or late. The position is 5 days a week (7 hour shifts) with 1 in 4 Saturday (8am til 2pm) and day off in week following weekend. No OOH. Part time applications will also be considered. The role will involve clinic admissions, care of in-patients, assisting vets in consults, running nursing clinics, monitoring anaesthetics, preparation of surgical kits, running laboratory samples and all the other amazing jobs that nurses do.

Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership is a five site, multi-species practice. This role is based at our Long Stratton branch, 10 miles south of Norwich. Recently refurbished, we have an operating suite of a central prep area with two operating theatres, radiography room and dental room plus separate dog and cat wards, with walk-in kennels available for our patients. We also have 3 large consulting rooms. In this surgery, facilities include digital radiography, ultrasound, orthopaedic operating kit with endoscopes and laser surgical unit available in other branches. We are based in rural South Norfolk, with access to the bustling lights of Norwich only 20 minutes, as well as the superb countryside, beaches and wildlife of Norfolk and Suffolk are never far away. London and Stansted are within 2 hours.

Our nursing team currently consists of 3 FT RVN's (you will be the fourth team member), with the Head Nurse due to return from maternity leave in the next few months. The nurse team enable the 7 vets (FT and PT, 1 x Surgical Cert Holder, 1 x Medicine Cert Holder) to carry out their roles. The whole practice team work together to provide the best care possible for all our clients.
