We are a successful independent practice in the lovely rural town of Hexham, Northumberland. 

We’re now seeking that special person to join our brilliant team of 5 small animal vets and superb supporting cast of RVNs, SVNs, VNAs, receptionists and admin staff.

Our newly refurbished, 24-hour-staffed, hospital-style centre offers the opportunity to enjoy a mix of consulting, medicine, surgery and dentistry. Work up and treat your own cases with in-house lab, radiography, dental radiography, endoscopy and a superb new ultrasound scanner.

Part/full time can be catered for and because we look after our own patients out of hours, you get to be part of the emergency team rota, with one regular week-night and one weekend in 5 on call. 

Our 15-minute consults allow us to spend more time with our clients and we support each other clinically.  As a nurse training practice, developing and investing in our team is part of our ethos, and your CPD allowance is generous, based upon your own requirements and those of the practice.

We are a happy and dedicated team, highly regarded by our clients, so the ability to build a good rapport with them is essential, as is the ability to support and collaborate with colleagues across the practice.
