The Practice
We are an independent practice that provides a great service to our clients and their animals. We look after our team by ensuring a happy working environment with plenty of support, opportunities for clinical progression and a great work-life balance. We aim to ensure constant progression of our team and our facilities in order to achieve these things now and long into the future.

A market town set in the stunning Wye Valley. Easy access to the countryside that is all around but also very easy motorway access. Cardiff, Bristol, Birmingham 1 hour away.

The Role
Full time Veterinary Surgeon working in a mixed practice under taking truly mixed work. We do our own out of hours work that is shared amongst our 11 vets.

We have all of the diagnostic equipment you could ever need for medical case work ups, ultrasound, video endoscopes including otoscopes, blood machines, x-ray…. We also have a small animal and equine medicine certificate holders with a wealth of knowledge and an invaluable source of refence and expertise. We have surgery facilities for routine surgery and more advanced surgery such as TTA, tiebacks, orthopaedics, lap spays most soft tissue cases, dental surgery. We have extensive rehab facilities including therapeutic laser therapy, stem cell therapy, stance analyser, hydrotherapy on site so any vets with interests in this area have huge potential to develop their skills.

Our large animal work comprises of beef, sheep and small amount of dairy. (No routine TB testing only small numbers of premovement tests) Also some easy horse work and small holders with pet sheep, goats, donkeys and alpacas.

The Package

We have an advanced practitioner in equine medicine and our equine facilities include stables, stocks and paddocks on site as well as the usual visiting service.
