Emergency and Hospital Care Veterinary Surgeon – Milton Cambridgeshire

Village Vet Milton have an exciting part time opportunity for a dedicated night veterinary surgeon to join the our Milton 24/7 hospital.

The Practice
Village Vet Milton is a thriving 24 Veterinary Hospital on the north side of Cambridge. It is one of the very few practices in Cambridgeshire accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as a Tier 3 Hospital. Our vets and nurses offer a full range of veterinary services including preventive care programmes, neutering, vaccination and dentistry. In addition, the hospital team provide more advanced care and services to our surrounding clinics and emergency cover to a wide range of vets in Cambridgeshire.

The Role
Milton have a fantastic part time opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated Night Vet to join the our 24/7 hospital. This hospital is running at very high standards of care as well as being well equipped to maintain these high standards. The new night veterinary surgeon will join a highly experienced existing night team and will be exposed to a variety of emergencies and night care duties. This is a great role for a veterinary surgeon with a minimum of 2 plus years’ experience.
Night shifts are part time: 6 nights in a 4 week rotation. This will work out as 19.5 hours per week.
Week 1 – Thurs night
Week 2 – Mon to Thurs night
Week 3 – Mon night
Week 4 - OFF
Responsibilities
•    PATIENT/CLINICAL CARE - Delivering a high level of clinical care to standards in conjunction with the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme.
•    CLIENT CARE - The delivery of client satisfaction to an exceptional level as defined by Village Vet.
•    TEAMWORK – Working within the Vet team and wider hospital team, to contribute your skills, efforts and personal strengths to help ensure a harmonious team ethos at all times.

Successful Candidate
Veterinary surgeon.
Comfortable working a night rota.
We will consider veterinary surgeons at all levels of experience.
