The role:

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced full time vet to lead our friendly team at our Welton practice in Lincolnshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to “take ownership” and really make this practice their own and drive this practice to make it the heart of the community.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience. You must have a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further.

You will be confident working sole charge with the ability to make sound clinical judgement, however you will have the support of 4 other practices in the region.   • Salary up to £65,000 dependent on experience
  • Accommodation allowance of £6,600
  • Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance
  • £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave, and in-house CPD training
  • VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
  • 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Skills and experience:

You must be a veterinary surgeon registered with the RCVS.

Medivet Welton is a lovely practice which is ready for someone to progress forward with the support of the team. The practice has loyal clients and has lots of scope and potential to become a successful thriving practice.

The practice has a small but excellent dedicated team consisting of one veterinary surgeon and one registered veterinary nurse. It is equipped with the latest technology including ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscope and k-laser.

Welton has great transport links wit easy access to the A1 and is close enough to the city of Lincoln whilst being surrounded by beautiful countryside.
