Registered Veterinary Nurse - Ringwood, Hampshire
We are looking for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse who has experience in providing advanced wards based nursing care to medical and surgical patients. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with high attention to detail and an empathetic approach to patient care. This role will suit a confident nurse with the ability to utilise initiative whilst working alongside a dedicated team of interns, nurses and VCAs. The position is full time, working 3 x 13 hour shifts a week. Salary range of £30,000 - £33,500 depending on experience.
Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists is a multidisciplinary referral centre currently undergoing extensive expansion and improvement of the facilities. The practice is located in the South of England close to the New Forest National Park and South Coast offering easy access to a multitude of outdoor activities. Bournemouth beach has just been voted number one beach in the UK by Tripadvisor and is a 20-minute drive from the practice. The area offers good access to regional and international airports and has excellent road and rail links to London.
Applicants must be a qualified veterinary nurse with current RCVS registration and post-qualification experience in clinical practice. Previous experience of out of hours/ ECC nursing would be beneficial.
