We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a full time basis - 5 days per week, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings until 1pm and no out of hours work. The rota is separated into distinct areas such as theatre, patient preparation, kennels, laboratory and clinics. Within the week each discipline is covered. We pride ourselves in excellent patient care, from the point of admission through to discharge. We are forever striving to ensure this process is reflected on to ensure gold standard care is achieved.
We are a small animal, first opinion practice with a family feel. We are set amongst the beautiful South Downs of outstanding natural beauty. We have 3 surgeries, a branch in Liphook, a branch in Haslemere and the main surgery in Midhurst. Midhurst is perfectly positioned, being surrounded by beautiful countryside but also near enough to public transport to gain access to London and the South coast. We are a close knit team with a real family feel.
There are 4 full time vets and 3 part time vets. There are 5 RVN and 3 SVN. One of the vets has a Certificate in small animal medicine, a couple of the vets are working towards certificates, one in cardiology and the other in small animal surgery. We actively promote and encourage continual professional development, embracing a learning environment. The students are encouraged to use their time at work to develop their learning, and their practical skills.
The position would be suitable for any Registered Veterinary Nurse wishing to join a forever team. We would be able to support inexperienced nurses and mentor and develop an experienced nurse. The ideal candidate would have good communication skills, ensuring an excellent client experience.
