Veterinary Surgeon - Milford, Surrey

We are recruiting for a full-time veterinary surgeon at our award-winning RCVS accredited small animal hospital in Surrey. The rota is 4 or 5 days a week with the requirement to work occasional Saturdays. We are looking for an experienced vet with a surgical bias who is confident in both surgical and medical case management and capable of sole charge.

We are a friendly small animal hospital with our own dedicated out-of-hours service. We work to extremely high standards of patient care, with separate cat and dog wards, in-house laboratory, and laparoscopic equipment. We are one of the few practices nationally to have been awarded “outstanding” in all six RCVS practice standard awards.

The ideal candidate will have experience and a strong interest in surgery. Previous experience of laparoscopic surgery would be an advantage but not essential. Ability to work well in a clinical team is key, as well as a willingness to support junior staff members. A desire to pursue further qualifications welcome.
