The role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and loyal teams in our Hinckley region in Leicestershire. 

This role gives great variation as you will be working two days at our Earl Shilton practice, one day at our Hinckley Station road practice and one day at our Hinckley Burbage practice. 

You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. This role requires a motivated vet to work confidently in a sole charge environment with the ability to make sound clinical judgement. Support will be given by the teams and regional support of the Area Manager and Regional Director.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary up to £60,000 dependent on experience
• £6,600 accommodation allowance
• Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance
• £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave
• VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
• 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays

Earl Shilton practice has a very long-standing and friendly client base who appreciate the personal service we provide. The practice has a fully supportive team that share enthusiasm for our clients and patients. We work closely with the Roston drive and Leicester road practices

Earl Shilton is a small town about 5 miles from Hinckley and 10 miles from Leicester. Activities and points of interest in the area include the tropical birdland, scuba diving at stoney cove, outdoor pursuits at stanton lakes and fosse meadows and the King Richard III visitor centre.

Hinckley is a market town conveniently situated centrally in the country with fantastic commuter routes onto the major motorway networks. Located close to the UK’s second biggest city Birmingham, while at the same time offering easy access to the beautiful countryside and historic towns like Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick.

You will experience a varied caseload at both of our lovely practices which are fully equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter, and much more.
