Veterinary Surgeon (Full Time) - Goodmays, Essex

The story of Animal Ark began in 2002, when Animal Ark opened in Goodmayes. At Animal Ark we quickly became known for our quality veterinary care. As a result, the Animal Ark community has continuously grown, as people whom we have had the pleasure to serve, invite other animal lovers to join in.

Due to continued success, we are looking for a 3-year minimum qualified veterinary surgeon to join our small animal and exotic first opinion practice. This role will include a mix of consults surgery and inpatient care on every shift which allows you to follow cases all the way through.

We are proud of our modern consult building with separate cat and dog waiting as well as our state-of-the-art equipment which includes DR radiography, ultrasound, dental radiography endoscopy, laparoscopy and K Laser. We also have a large in-house lab and a hydrotherapy pool.

We also have a large supportive nursing team so you will have your own nurse assigned daily to assist in consults (taking notes), surgery and for your inpatient care. We have dedicated ward nurses, surgery nurse, pharmacy nurse and floor coordinators to assist with running of the day and 2 Head Nurses. We also have a large friendly reception team, as well as an accounts team who assist with client accounts and processing insurance claims.

Hours:

You will be required to work a 40 hour week consisting of two earlies and two late shifts (one late shift is on call) 1:3 weekends and 1:6 of these will be on call.
