Veterinary Surgeon – Surrey

My clients in Surrey are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy, growing and client focussed practice. They are looking for someone who loves working as part of a fantastic team, enjoys surgery and client interaction as well as strives for excellence in both client and patient care.

The ideal candidate for this role would have 5+ years’ experience in general practice, a good surgical skills level and interest surgery is advantageous. This position would suit an experienced vet wishing to develop clinically as we have excellent facilities and exciting caseloads.

The practice is equipped with all the toys, X ray, ultrasound, lab & endoscopy, peripatetic orthopaedic surgeons. Very little gets referred as they pride themselves on working up their own cases as much as possible.

The practice is very well established and is continuing to grow. The fantastic team have allowed them to thrive despite the pandemic. They currently have a team of 4 vets, 3 RVN’s plus 2 experienced nurses, SVN, ANA and a reception team. The role is a 40 hour week with 1:4 Saturday mornings and no OOH, allowing for a healthy work life balance. The current team are highly supportive, cases are discussed and CPD knowledge is shared as they genuinely want the best for all of the staff.

Specialist interests are welcomed, CPD is supported all the way to certificate level and there is the potential to grow and develop within the clinic. For the successful applicant, a fantastic salary package is on offer depending on experience, as well as genuine career progression opportunities.
