Grantham Vets4Pets have an exciting opportunity for an experienced vet to join their team! 

This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work up a varied caseload with a mixture of animals. The surgery is purpose built with digital x-ray, ultrasound, V-Gel, Idexx Lab in-house, multi pram monitoring. 

The practice holds RCVS GP status and has received ‘Outstanding’ rating in client care, ‘Good’ in in-patient care in the PSS awards. It is also at the forefront of colleague wellness and previously received a ‘Highly Commended’ in the Veterinary Wellbeing awards. 

Person Specification

We are looking for up to 40 hours per week so can be flexible in regards hours and are able to accommodate people looking for PT hours. The role will include Saturday’s on a rota basis, 8.30am – midday. There is no OOH requirement and we are closed on Sunday’s allowing for an excellent work-life balance. 

The practice is conveniently situated just off the A1, 30 minutes from Nottingham and 35 minutes north of Peterborough, with easy rail links on the main line from London (1 hour away).

We are looking for a vet with good medical and surgical experience, and who is confident with occasional sole charge. You should be personable, motivated and passionate about being a vet. Team work is really important to us and you will be working alongside an experienced team of 2 vets, 4 QVNs and our client care advisors.
