Registered Veterinary Nurse - Burgess Hill, West Sussex

No two days are ever the same for a Cootes veterinary nurse!

You could be monitoring anaesthetics, supporting clients or assisting the vets. The role is 5 days per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays (8-1) and no OOH. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced, fun loving team who are always helpful, friendly and supportive. There is so much variety here to keep you on your toes, with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills. We have a team of three very experienced vets and we like to get together for social events as often as we can.

We are an award winning small animal practice, 20 minutes from Brighton and on the foot of the South Downs. We are 3 Vet practice with modern theatre, x-ray and lab facilities, with opportunities to work with visiting Imaging, orthopeadic and endoscopy specialists in house. We are proud to be the only practice in the immediate area offering laparascopic spays and procedures.

We have a big, roomy, purpose built building with ample off road parking. The practice has been substantially refurbished and offers a great working space, with a large kennel room, theatre and prep room. We are close to all amenities and a short walk from town and transport links with beautiful countryside right on our doorstep. Cootes has a fantastic, friendly and well established customer base who will make you feel right at home. We like to get involved with charity events and run an annual dog show with all team members getting involved.

We are looking to recruit a hardworking fun-loving team member, who likes to be a real team player. We are looking for someone who is confident in all Nursing duties and is happy to jump in and help when needed.
