Veterinary Surgeon - Uxbridge West London

Our fantastic vet Michael has been lured away to academia, so we are looking for a second vet to work full-time alongside our very experienced senior vet at our practice in Uxbridge, West London. Lovely supportive friendly team! This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic vet wishing to progress their career. 

Uxbridge is a well-established practice with good local amenities, close to Uxbridge town centre but also easy access to the lovely surrounding countryside. The practice has dental x-ray and a brand-new ultrasound machine, so could support someone developing an interest in imaging.

The role involves a small amount of sole charge so is not suitable for a brand new graduate; however, support is very close by from our main hospital in Northolt complete with CT, imaging suite and an array of specialists. You will also be supported by an experienced nursing team and dedicated receptionist.

The current rota includes alternate Fridays off and a half day every Tuesday. There is no night work or on call as emergencies are covered by the dedicated OOH team at the Mandeville. Also, be part of the hospital team at this state-of-the-art hospital on a 1:8 Sunday day time rota.

There is an excellent salary on offer and accommodation if required. Our CPD allowance is £2000 with 5 days paid CPD per year.
