Due to one of our team heading off to teach the next generation of nurses, we have an exciting rare opportunity to join our amazing nursing team here at Worcester Vets4Pets. Our nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients.

Our practice is situated inside Pets at Home giving us great exposure to new and varied clients whilst also offering ample free on-site parking and being ideally located in close proximity to junction 6 and 7 of the M5.

The surgery itself is bright, spacious and air-conditioned and was purpose built to industry leading standards which has state of the art equipment including x-ray machine, ultrasound, multi - parameter, endoscope, tono meter, diathermy,cryo, in house laboratory equipment including idexx catalyst, procyte, sedivue and UA analyser. 

Person Specification

This role would suit an ambitious registered nurse with great communication skills who is looking to utilise all of their nursing skills whilst working alongside a positive and passionate team. We believe in our nursing team developing themselves. In our team we currently have RVNS who are trained in massage therapy and a qualified behaviourist and certificate holder in behaviour. Also RVNs studying towards certificates in medical nursing and emergency and critical care.

You will be supporting and working alongside our 6 vets. We have surgery certificate holders, vets studying towards medical and ultrasonograpy certificates.

This position is full time averaging 40 hours a week and including a weekend rota of 1 in 3.
