Rural Mixed Practice in Ayrshire Seeking Full Time Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for someone to join our friendly team in rural Ayrshire. We are seeking an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon, experienced or new graduate who has a keen interest in mixed practice.

A veterinary surgeon that is confident in both medicine and surgery would be an advantage. We are a long-standing independent mixed practice, focused on providing quality care for our patients and clients. Workload is 80% small animal and 20% large animal (no equine). We will be moving to new premises in the forthcoming months, the successful candidate will join us in this exciting new phase.

• 4/5-day wk. (rota dependent)
• 1-in-3 weekends with Saturday morning consults
• OOH rota shared amongst 3 vets
• Salary ranges from £30,000 - £40,000 based on experience
• Generously funded CPD budget  

The successful candidate must have a good work ethic and excellent communication skills necessary to build on our existing client relationships, good written and spoken English is essential. The practice is keen to fully support any new or recent graduates.
