The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s animal welfare charity, is seeking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon to work at its National Wildlife Rescue Centre in Fishcross near Alloa.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the thousands of sick and injured animals rescued by the Scottish SPCA each year.

The successful applicant will have excellent surgical skills with a proven and relevant track record in Veterinary Practice and be keen to work in the animal welfare sector.

Reporting to the Chief Veterinary Officer, you will be responsible for treating wildlife brought into the centre, and will assist the Managers and staff of the centre to fulfil their duties. You will require excellent communication and customer care skills. 

The position will be CPD supported.
Hours of work are 22.5 hours per week, to include weekends and on call duties where applicable.
