We are seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to come and join the team at Medivet Basildon.

This role will be most suitable for a competent First Opinion Practitioner. You will be supported and encouraged to work to high medical and surgical standards.

This role will involve a mixture of running the hospital, consulting patients and also some surgery. Confidence working sole charge is essential.

This is a full time permanent position, working 39 hours a week over 4 days, providing great work-life balance. This shift pattern includes 1:3 half weekends (Saturday/Sunday) or 1:6 full weekends.

Salary & Benefits:

A very competitive package of up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience), which includes accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance

£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave, and in-house CPD training

VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
