Surgery Information / Job Description

Here at Eastleigh Vets4Pets, we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. This is the perfect opportunity for a qualified nurse to join a supportive team.

Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including multi parameter anaesthetic monitoring machine and laser therapy kit.

Our owner Mark has been a qualified veterinary surgeon since 2008, he has a wealth of first opinion, emergency and critical experience. He is still very passionate about the industry and welcomes new team members who have the same ethos.  We have expanded our nurse ops list and consults through the use of our veterinary care assistants for non-clinical tasks, which has given our nurses the freedom to concentrate on their clinical work.

Person Specification

There are either part of full time hours available, both will include a weekend rota of 1 in 4. No OOH required!

As a successful candidate, you will have good general veterinary nursing experience, excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
