We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to come and join our friendly and vibrant team at Vets4Pets Dudley.

We are conveniently situated close to bus routes and major road networks as well as various amenities. This is a great location for families, and close enough to Birmingham for those seeking the nightlife!

Our partner, Jo Day, qualified in Bristol in 1996 and runs a mature practice with an expanding, loyal client base and varied caseload. The practice is purpose built with state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, dental equipment including x-ray, ultrasound, in house laboratory and orthopaedic.

Person Specification

By joining us, you’ll become part of an ISFM silver accredited surgery who pride ourselves on having a welcoming working environment and a high standard of clinical care. We are RCVS accredited and we are also very proud to be awarded SPVS wellbeing award in 2019.

Working in this fun-loving and dedicated team, you’ll never feel unsupported. You will join 2 other talented vets plus the partner, an extremely knowledgeable head nurse, a bubbly practice manager/RVN, three brilliant RVNs, one SVN and five client care advisers. We’ll help you develop your skills and encourage you to undertake certificates in line with your specific interests. What’s more, CPD is fully funded!

You will have a wealth of experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills. If you have an interest in more surgery this could be the practice for you.

You will be working 40 hours per week, on a rota that covers the practice opening hours (Mon-Fri 8:30-20:00) and just 1 in 4 Saturdays (practice open 9:00-16:00).
