Veterinary Surgeon (Full Time) – South Wales

My client is currently looking for a new full time veterinary surgeon to join them in this well-established small animal practice with an RCVS accredited hospital.

The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic 2+ year graduate who is looking join a forward thinking and tight knit family of Vets with an amazing, long-serving, friendly team of RVN’s and support staff.

They practice sees a varied caseload and they are lucky enough to have a medicine certificate holder on site, with others working towards certificates in cardiology, ophthalmology, medicine and surgery.

The practice benefits from all of the usual equipment including digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasonography and a selection of endoscopes.

You would benefit from a generous CDP budget and as noted earlier, further certificate study is actively encouraged. Your RCVS, VDS, plus one additional subscription is fully funded plus a health plan.

If you don’t currently live in the South Wales area, then a relocation package is available for those looking to make the move to this stunning part of the country.

You would need to be confident in undertaking consultations, medical investigations, and routine surgical cases but wanting to take the next step in your career with the full support and guidance of experienced colleagues.

The rota would be an average of a 4-day working week, a fairly shared weekend rota and only one week of nights in every 12, alongside a dedicated night nurse. Also, you would get 5 weeks of holiday in addition to public holidays.
