We are looking for Registered Veterinary Nurse, preferably with some experience, to join our friendly team! The role involves general vet nursing duties which include admitting patients for procedures, blood sampling and IV catheterisation, anaesthetic monitoring, assisting with surgery (and consultations during the pandemic), patient clinics, as well as some reception work and cleaning. Up to 4 full week days (8.30am to 6.30pm) and 1 Saturday (8.30am to 12.30pm) in 4. No on call or out of hours, other than a very quiet 1 in 8 weekend rota for inpatients.

Family run, friendly and well-equipped working environment with enthusiastic and supportive staff, and RCVS accreditation (core standards). We have many insured clients and are located in affluent commuter belt, close to main line to Guildford and London Waterloo. Excellent referral centres nearby. Equipment includes digital x-ray processor, IDEXX Catalyst & Procyte, high spec ultrasound scanner and dental equipment, and a range of other equipment that would be expected in a progressive Small Animal general practice.

Working as part of a team is an essential aspect of the job. A positive and enthusiastic outlook would be ideal! Continuing professional development is paid for and encouraged. There is scope to expand the nursing clinics once the pandemic has passed.
