We are a friendly team of 4 vets, 3 nurses, 2 student nurses, a VCA, 4 CCAs and a practice manager who also still nurses occasionally. Our head nurse holds a diploma in nursing and tow of our nurses are also student trainers. Iain Cope, partner and vet, qualified from Edinburgh University and is an Advanced Practitioner in Zoological Medicine, and one of our other vets is studying for a small animal certificate.
We are situated just off of the A14 between Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge in the historic town of Newmarket. We have built a great reputation within the town and further afield and see a varied caseload including cats, dogs, exotics and even carry out zoo and wildlife park visits!
Our well-equipped surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has all of the usual equipment you would expect.
Our ideal new colleague will be dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all round skills. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and enjoy the variety the role will bring. If you are keen to develop within your own area of interest, we offer a generous CPD allowance. This role is full time, with hours between 30-40 per week.
